Registration for Pre-Nursing Begins Today

Registration for Pre-Nursing is Now Open

This program, (formerly Nursing Day) was created to give home-educated students an in depth look at Nursing as  a profession.  Pre-Nursing looks at both the academic preparation needed and let’s students explore a hospital setting as well.

Students will spend 1/2 day on a college campus and see what it’s like to study Nursing as a major, but perhaps the best part of  Pre-Nursing, is that students have an opportunity to accompany a registered nurse through a portion of their day. They experience all that the Nurse does.

Most of the activities will take place on Friday, November 18th, (LW), however, sometimes it takes slightly longer to approve the clinical date through the hospital, so we ask for scheduling flexibility for the week of November 18-25, 2011.

Please register early because there are medical forms that must be completed (SEE REQUIREMENTS) and late registration could delay your student’s clinical visit.

  • Choose you Hospital
  • More emphasis on scholarships and financial aid for Nursing students
  • 25% of all donations go toward the “Shepherd’s Heart Scholarship” to be awarded Fall 2012–BUT NO DONATION IS REQUIRED TO ENROLL IN PRE-NURSING.

  • Age 16+
  • TB, Chicken Pox & Flu vaccine

To register for Pre-Nursing, see our “Visiting College and and Workshop Schedule November 2011”. If you have any questions, please call Lorraine Cunningham at 317-658-4197.

Thank you & God Bless!
